Reducing the Harriston Flood Risk – we want to hear from you!
Maitland Conservation is seeking public input on ways to reduce the potential for flooding in Harriston.
If you’ve got an idea, we want to hear it! No idea is too big or too small. Maitland Conservation staff will be at the Town of Minto office on June 27, 28 and 29 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Drop in and meet one-on-one with staff. Let us know your thoughts on options to reduce flooding. We’ll be investigating the potential outcomes and costs of every idea that’s discussed. The results will be highlighted at a public meeting in November.
The Town of Minto office is located at 5941 Highway 89. If you have questions about the drop in sessions please contact Stephen Jackson, Flood and Erosion Safety Services Coordinator, at email@example.com .
